There should be a shared and well-ventilated space for storing support material and containers.

Use shelving units and shelves made of easily washable material and elevated from the floor by approximately 12cm to 20cm.

Pay attention to the insulation of this compartment to prevent the entry of insects and rodents.

In restaurants, it is also suggested to have a small pantry in the kitchen (daily pantry) to store frequently used products (rice, pasta, olive oil, cooking oil, flour, sugar, condiments, etc.). For this pantry, a small cabinet with wheels (trolley) can be used, thus allowing greater mobility and functionality.

A good way to reduce the size occupied by a warehouse without compromising your restaurant's service, or without going shopping every day, is to choose a partner with daily deliveries, which will greatly facilitate the restaurant's day-to-day management!
