Public access to and presence in restaurants or beverage establishments is free. The owner may, however, refuse access or presence to individuals when there is a disruption to the normal functioning of the establishment, namely due to:
- Not showing an intention to use the services provided;
- Refusing to comply with operating rules imposed by legal provisions or those specific to the establishment, provided that these restrictions are duly advertised;
- Entering restricted access areas.
- Animal Entry
Access may be denied to individuals accompanied by animals, except for guide dogs, in accordance with Decree-Law No. 74/2007 of March 27, and provided that this restriction is duly advertised.
